Dr. Alyssa Manski is from Wayside, NJ. She attended Elon University in Elon, NC for her undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. In 2017 she obtained her dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, MD. Early on, she developed a strong interest in oral surgery and enjoyed the scope and complexity of cases the specialty had to offer.
Dr. Manski continued her training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA where she completed her chief year. She obtained her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College and then completed an internship in general surgery. Her full scope training included orthognathic surgery, management of obstructive sleep apnea, facial trauma, and dentoalveolar surgery. She became heavily involved in research at Jefferson, presenting several papers on minimally invasive temporomandibular joint surgery, surgical pathology, and anesthesia on the national level at multiple conferences.
While rotating at Nemours Alfred I. Dupont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE, Dr. Manski developed a keen interest in treating pediatric patients, leading her to pursue fellowship at Florida Craniofacial Institute.
