Florida Craniofacial Institute sponsors a fellowship program to educate surgeons interested in advancing their skills in the management of Cleft and Craniofacial anomalies.  Surgeons spend one year with Dr. Ricalde in a busy, established, private practice environment with research opportunities.

Dr. Pat Ricalde

Dr. Pat Ricalde

MD, DDS, FACS

Pat Ricalde, MD, DDS, FACS is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, specializing in maxillofacial reconstruction. In addition to Board Certification, she is the only Fellowship Certified Pediatric Craniofacial Surgeon in the entire Tampa Bay region. Her area of expertise is pediatrics, and she offers patients office sedation as well as hospital-based care.

DDS, FACD, FICD

W. Mark Tucker, DDS, FACD, FICD is a seasoned, well-known oral and maxillofacial surgeon in Tampa Bay. His specialities include teeth extractions, cancer screenings, implants, and the removal of oral lesions. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Victoria Palermo

Dr. Victoria Palermo

MD, DMD

Victoria Palermo, MD, DDS completed her Fellowship in 2016, under the tutelage of Dr. Pat Ricalde, and joined the surgical team of Florida Craniofacial Institute in early 2017. She graduated from dental school at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and completed her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Alfred Tennant

DDS

Alfred Tennant, DDS has been treating craniofacial pain for over 25 years. He is Fellowship Certified from the University of Florida, where he completed his 2-year program at the Parker Mahan Craniofacial Pain Center. His areas of expertise include diagnosis and management of complex craniofacial pain conditions and co-managing sleep related breathing disorders (Sleep Apnea) with oral appliances.
